led SPEAR

Summer of 2015, I made Nidalee’s spear from the game League of Legends. I used a PVC pipe with connectors as the base of the spear; the four spikes were made out of styrene and boned together; the cylinder was an acrylic tube; inside the tube I wrapped EL wire and the very top of the spear housed the battery pack; and the details along the spear were made out of EVA foam. I used acrylics to hand paint the spear and give it a weather look, and covered the pipe with fabric. The spear was a total of 6’3″ long and 5 pounds. I accomplished this in 4 days.
